The R-Meter is a passive RFID tag to measure the resistance value of the device connected to the R-Meter. Built in a compact PCB format, the device monitors resistance values in a range from 100Ω to 1MΩ with an accuracy of ±1%. It also offers an extended operation range from 10Ω to 5MΩ with an accuracy of ±15%.
These RFID resistance monitor tags are compatible with commercial UHF RFID readers (EPC C1G2). With a 2W ERP setup the battery-less resistance monitor can communicate to over one meter and a half – 5 feet.
The R-Meter is available in a variety of antenna design and sizes, depending on the specific application. It can be encapsulated in an IP67 or IP68 casing for usage in harsh environments.
The R-Meter can be used as thermometer using a NTC or PTC thermistors
