The Cyclon is a paCyclon - Battery-free pressure monitoring tagssive RFID tag to measure pressure. Built in a compact PCB format, the device monitors pressure in a range from 0 bar to 30 bar with an accuracy of ±50mbar. It also integrates a temperature sensor with a range from -30ºC to +85ºC with an accuracy of ±1ºC.
These RFID pressure monitor tags are compatible with commercial UHF RFID readers (EPC C1G2). With a 2W ERP setup the battery-less pressure sensor can communicate to over one meter and a half – 5 feet.
The Cyclon is available in a variety of antenna design and sizes, depending on the specific application. It can be encapsulated in an IP67 or IP68 casing for usage in harsh environments.
